I recently changed phones. Will I still be able to use my Jesus Calling app?

It depends. If your new device is the same platform as the previous device (i.e., iOS/Apple to iOS/Apple or Android to Android), re-download from the app store and sign in with the email address registered at the time of purchase. The challenge is when a user changes platforms. While both the iOS and Android apps look and function the same way, their similarities are only skin deep. iOS and Android apps have very different internal structures, so an iOS app cannot operate on an Android device and vice versa. iOS and Android are different app markets, and app purchases do not transfer between the two platforms, so a change in the platform does require the download of a new app.

How do I gift the app to a friend?

Sarah Young has other devotionals. Will those be converted into app form?

The Jesus Calling app is designed to easily display content from Sarah Young’s other devotionals, so the need for multiple stand-alone apps is no longer necessary. The app functions as a “virtual bookshelf” so users can read any of Sarah’s other works inside the Jesus Calling app. Premium subscribers can access all of this content—including the audio books—for just $4.99 per month.

I purchased my Jesus Calling app as a standalone app. Do I need to subscribe?

Legacy users will keep all content purchased prior to the change in December 2023 and can access it without a subscription. For help accessing previously purchased content, please email CustomerCare@harpercollins.com. Moving forward, legacy users wishing to access additional Sarah Young titles inside the app will need a subscription to unlock the additional content and features.

How do I share on social media?

Quotes can be shared to popular social networking sites, such as Facebook and X (formerly known as Twitter). Please note: Copying and sharing are limited to 300 characters due to copyright laws. We apologize for any inconvenience this causes.
